A treat is in store for picture patrons to-night at . the Opera House, when Olive Thomas will be starred as the little Quaker girl Prudence, in ''Prudence on Boardway." Prudence, as played by Olive Thomas, is a creation of a charming romance that takes for its theme a little Quaker girl who went to New York to face the devil on his own ground and learn his ways that she might worst him, and she did. "Prudence on Broadway'-' isan exquisite romantic comedy, 'rich iii satire, with charming Olive Thomas as the demure, vivacious, seductive little Quakeress, who was a grey dove amongst a lot of chattering mi'gpies; but was slic as unsophisticated as she looked? En route to the farm Southard stops the car in which they are travelling outside Randall's Road-House a notorious inn, and induces Elizabeth to enter. O.ie evening, Mrs Traverse prevails upon Harry Hammond, a wealthy young broker devoted to Agnes, to accompany Agues and herself to a Salvation Army meeting in- the skims. Harry is bored and leaves in the middle of the meeting, saying he will wait for them outside. Here, he is attracted by a scream, and rushes to the aid of a woman' being assaulted by two ruffians. This woman is Elizabeth, but he fails to recognise her. The men ••u upon Harry and beat him int-t; ins-eihibility, after which they cajrry him away and place him aboard a freighter, which sails for Trance the next morning. The cast includes some of the world's greatest motion picture artists, among them ..being Catherine Calvert, Eugene O'Brien, Ruby de Remer, Theodore Roberts and Robert Auderson.
