Placed horses either at New Brighton, Ashburton, Westport, Gore or at this Meeting, if nominated for any event at this Meeting may, if otherwise qualified;, be re-nominated for uny event on the Second Day of this Meeting. Such nomination may be made at any time up to THIRT7 MINUTES after the finish of the last race of the First Day of the Meeting. Definition of a Local Race. — A Race open to horses which have been in one of the Counties of Buller, Inangahua, Westlaiid, or Grey or any West Coast Borough or Town Board for at least three months prior to the race and owned by residents of the said Counties or Boroughs. (A Lessee or Bailee shall not be deemed to own a fiorse within this condition). The Committee .to be sole judges of whether a horse is qualified or not, and their decision is to be final. The Committee reserve the right to refuse any nomination without giving any explanation. Rule 196. Rules of Trotting. — Every person applying for admission to any course, and every person entering or endeavouring to enteT a horse for any race ,and every person having or subsequently acquiring any; interest in such horse, shall bo deor^fid to accept all the conditions and restrictions imposed or implied by these Rules, and to be barred from questioning the action of the Conference, Appeal Judges, Association, Club, Racing Club or body Committee, Stewards, Officials, Agents, or Servants in respect of any such j person or horse, or any person connected therewith otherwise than is provided for m Part 'XXX. of these Rules.
