FEILDING, November 30. Beautiful weather favoured the first day of the Feilding Races, and there was a tremendous crowd present. There was good racing and no accidents. The tote handled £44,740, against £36,279 for the fiTst day last year. Results: — Waituna Hurdles.—Mattock (McDonald) 1, Manhattan 2, Tempo 3. Also started: Lord Nagar, Maniahera, Goldstream, Pawerewere. Won by four lengths. Time 3.26. l Aorangi »Trial Plate.—Hallowroz L. C. Reid) 1, Miss Elva 2, Merry Queen 3.
