FIRES AT LIVERPOOL
• SINN FEINERS BLAMED. LONDON, November 28. : A ' series of fires belioA'ed to have been caused by Sinn Feihers, broke , out in twelve cotton Avarehouses and •several timberyaTds in XriA'erpool on "Saturday night. The. damage amounts lto several thousands sterling. ' Several policemen Avere shot at organised outrages in Liverpool, Avhich indicate the commencement of the j threatened Sinn Fein attacks in English industrial centresy disclosed in documents captured during the recent Dublin raids, Late last night more than 12 cotton Warehouses and five large timbcryards Avere set on fire. A policeman seized a suspect, .who produced a revolver arid shot the constable dead. A man named Daniel Ward .states that he saAV men belieA'ed to be Sinn Feiaers set- fire to one Avai*ehouse. Several' fires are "still burning/ Fire brigades from neighbouring towns are assisting the locals. At Bottle, (a suburb of Liverpool) six fires wefe burning simultaneously. They have issued descriptions of two young jißen believed to be Sinn Feiners.
