WEST COAST PUBLIC SCHOOLS SPORTS ASSOCIATION. A meeting of the Committee of the above Avas held on Saturday morning to make final arrangements for the sports and displays of physical exercises, seventeen members being present. Mr. Allison was in the chair. The chairman reported that hurdles had been procured, hnd that the entries so far had reached OA r cr 600. As fifty events avci-c to be run off during the day, and in most cases three or more heats for each race, it Avas necessary that the organising arrangements should be as perfect as pos-, siblc. A rehearsal for the massed display Avould be held on the Park at 3 p.m. on Tuesday. It Avas decided to ask School Committees to close the schools on Wednesday, and that hot Avatcr be pi'OA'idqd for those Avishingto make tea Teachers. Averc advised to arrange for distinguishing badges for their schools. Any assistance from members of School Committees would be thankfully received, as a large number of officials is required.
