SYDNEY, November 26. In tbe Federal House of Representatives Mr Tudor moved that, in accordance Mr W. M. Hughts' Bendigo .pledge of 1919, that this Wrfiravant would give immediate effect to the basic wage finding, such finding be now put in force." The Labour Leader stated that some industries were already paying the new wage. From 1913 to 1913, he said, production had increased by 64 million, but the wages had only increased by 4J millions or by 7or 8 per cent. Thus while the workers received only 4J millions of an increase, the manufacturers received nine million of profits. The debate was adjourned.
