POLLAIiD'S PICTURES. JACK PICKEORD TO-NIGHT. "BilJ Appersons Boy" a First National picture starring Jack Pickford will be screened- by Pollards in the Opera House to-night (Friday) Saturday and at the matinee on Saturday afternoon. The picture was made in a beautiful mountainous region. Jack Pickford is splendid in the role ot "boy" quite the best hit of character acting he has done. A story of humble American life a-ffectingly real and awakening to "Bill Appersons Boy" is one of the First National Film productions if its kind. Four characterizations and out distinctly. The American boy portrayed by Jack Pickford is proud s»nd stubborn" in its cherished ideals. In perfect harmony is the characterization by Gloria Hope of a simple and true-hearted American girl in gentle 'revolt against, her unhappy environment. Strong impersonations are those given by Russeil Simpson as the boy's father, and George Nicholls as the father of the girl both hardy old mountaineers or the' Blue Kentucky Hill Country. Readers of "The Little Shepherd ot Kingdom Come" will like this, for it is a faithful depiction of same accents and incidents that mad© the name or John Fox famous. The 12th ancl 13th episode of "Mystery 13" will be screened in conjunction with the star feature. Both episodes will be screened on Friday. - •?.

THE ROUGH NECK. "The Rough Neck" a. new World Film production featuring Barbara Castteton Frank Mayo and Montague Love will be the star picture on Sunday evening. The "Rough Neck" is the story of a love in the Lumber Csunps ; a ghost moving melo-drama full of sensations and thrills.
