-' . f CHAMPIONSHIPS AT WANGANUI. WANGANUI, Nov. 17. The Wanganui Show opened to-day. The entries largely exceed those of the previous year's. Rain fell for a couple of hours about lunch time, but other wise the day was fine. The Championships were awarded as follows: — Milking, shorthorn bull, Mrs. J. Wall, Springfield Duke; cow, Mrs. J. Wall. Ayrshire bull, Moumahoki farmer Dominion Dalesman; cow, W. P. Harris's Sadie; Hereford bull W. B. Whites Jolly Jack; cow G. F. Moore's Regal II; Aberdeen Angus bull, Fred Mfcore's Paddy 19; cow Fred Moore's Olinda II; Shorthorn bull W. F. Jacob and Sons, Canterbury, Prince; cow, Hunter's KUlerby.
