PEERLESS PICTURES.

Last night's splendid programme will be shown again to-night- in the 'i own Hall.

MATINEE WEDNESDAY.

The usual matinee will be given on Wednesday whejo. Wallace Reid will be presented, in "The Lottery Man." \7ednesday night's big attraction presents three stars, Wallace Reid in •'The Lottery Man," Fatty Arbuckle in "The Garage," ajnd Louise Fanzenda and Billy Armstrong in a scream ing Mack Sennett "The Star Boarder." How many girls would pay five shillings for a chance to win ..Wallace Reid for a husband? Of •ourse, he is happily married and has a little Wallace, jur., but in his latest Paramount-Artcraft picture, "The Lottery Man" he offers this unusual opportunity to the ladies. Three hundred thousand of them jump at the chajnee. Mr Reid has the role of breezy Jack Wright, who, being young good-looking, hard of heart, jobless, nd in debt, started a lottery with him-' elf as first prize offering to marry the woman who drew the lucky number. The lottery was conducted by a big city newspaper, and it was too late to stop the proc-eedings when ho fell in love with a pretty girl. An uninteresting old maid held the winning coupon. Reid's e*it from the mess is sidfe-stepping. Wanda Hawley and Harrison Ford support the star. Fatty Arbuckle is due to add laurels to his name when i'The Garage," comedy is shown. Assisted by Buster Kteaton, Molly Malone and a most up-to-date canine Fatty contributes one of the best comedies of his career. The two reels are filled with unusual burlesque on happenings in a garage, where Fatty and Buster are employed as usefuls. TKe turn-table, the petrol tank, the cask of grease, and a well-known make of car all come in for their share of the fun. *iaty's dog has an insane role,' ajad is instrumental in parting Buster Keaton from his trousers. Buster's makeshift costume, taken from a Harry Lauder poster is most humorous, and the concluding scenes, wherein the garage is fired and Fatty performs a notable rescue are comedy gems. The other item on this glorious programme is "The Star Boarder," a 2-reel Mack Sennett, wit ha host of fun makers^ assisted by Teddy tlfe dog. This programme will be shown on Wednesday only owing to the Hall being otherwise engaged on Thursday.
