CAIRO, July 16— A message from Damascus, dated 12th July, states that French troops were then concentrating* at Zahlee, and had occupied the Masl-lakah-Riak railway stations Syrian forces gathered at Majdelangar and prepared to resist Bedouin chiefs assembled at Damascus, where there is a state of ferment. The situation is alarming.
