BARTLETT V. HEENEY. FORMER QUITS. IN EIGHTH ROUND. (Per Press Association.) GISBORNE, February 13 The fifteen Tound professional noxing contest between Tom Heeney (Gisborne) and W. Bartlett (Murchison) took place to-night. Bartlett quitted after' the eighth round. He ' declared that "Heeney was too' strong, and he (Bartlett) would have no chance> of success." The display was not one-sided, but was fairly tame.
