Mr -Bates reports tTiat.an extreme anti-cyclone has prevailed to the westward, and) southerly breezes have ruled over the Dominion. The weather has been fair to cloudy generally, but scattered fog a.n<\ rain .has been reported. The present indications are for variable winds, /with moderate to strong southerlics prevailing and cold change-able weather may bp expected, with passing shower^, particularly in the east coast and southern districts.
