AMERICA REDUCING POSTAGE RATE.

WELLINGTON. June 5 The Acting Postmaster-General has received ' advice that the rate of post, age on letters from the United States for New Zealand will be reduced from July Ist from 3 to 2 cents per ounce. £4Q,000 ASKED FOR.
