MATINEE TO-DAY. oPlard's usual weekly matinee will be given to-day in the Opera House, when will be presented Wilkio Collin ? s great story of "The Woman in White" and the 14th chapter of "The Mystery of the Double Cross." The same programme will be repeated tonight for the last time. SUNDAY AND MONDAY, AN IRISH STORY. On to-morrow (Sunday) and Monday evenings a delightful and dramatic story of Ireland and Irish life will be screened in the Vitagraph's production "His Own People." The cast is a strong one and the story is not a burlesque on Irish life, but a play that arouses admiration for the true sons and daughters of Erin. Pollard's orchestra will render Irish selections, and Mr R. Cullcn will render the violin solo. "Home Sweet Home." The scenes of "His Own People" are laid partly in a manorial mansion and partly in a humble Irish vilagc, where the clean joyousness of life is beautifully depicted. Gladys Leslie is a fascinating little colleen, with rougish curls and rougish eyes — and well might the blacksmith leave tbe dazzling society lady for the more dazzling girl he ha/i loved since she was a child. No wonder then that to Two Souls there comes a softness like the atmosphere of dreams. The picture moves rapidly, and works up to the stirring climax of remarkable intensity. During the screening of "His Own People," Mr W. Belcher will sing "Oft in the Ktilly Night" and "Believe Me of all those Endearing Young Charms. "Torrent Bush" the sth chapter of "The Fighting Trail" is screened in conjunction with the star picture on Sunday and Monday evening's
