Desert Geld maintained a good lead and looked like a winner at) the distance, but here /oitral challenged her, and aiter a great finish, Poitral got home on the last strido by a short head. Time .2.31. A record. KENSINGTON HCP.— Baltic Sea, 8.12, 1; Conacre 8.9, 2; Anotto 9.0, 3. j There were twenty-two starters. Impediment included. Won by 14 lengths. Time 1.26* MURDLES.— Lord Nagar 10.5, 1; Montauk 11.2, 2; . Graphone 10.12 3. I Eleven starters. The winner led throughout and won. by half a length. Timo 3.40 3-8. . TRlAL.— Redburn 1, Greg 2, First Rain 3.. Twelve starters. Won by three quarters,* of a length. Time '2.8 1-4. A.J.C. DERBY, 1J MILES. Gloaming (N.Z.) 1 Finmark (N.Z.) 2 Kilmoon: (N.Z.) 3 j 'There were twelve starters including Almoner, Kilbarron, and New Zealand. Gloaming was first into the straight, from -Kilmoon, Outlook, Finmark, and Almoner. At the distance (Gloaming came . away and easily stalled olf Finmark's challenge and ■ won by 1 1-4 lengths. Time 2.33£. EPSOM.— Rebus 9.0, 1; Norbury 7.10, 2, Quastor 7.10, 3. Twentyseven starters Including Killowen and Bimeter. Killowen and Poitrina were first to show ,out. Killowen, Publican, • andPoitrina were all together at . the half-mile post, but Rebus and NorI bury drew out at the distance. Won 'by 1 1-4 lengths. Time 1.38, a record.
