ENEMY'S RETREAT,
ITALIANS BACK AT BARAT
(Australian and N.Z. Cable A.ssn.) LONDON, October 4. An Italian report states: In Albania on Tuesday we began an enei* getic advance between the sea ai.d Usum and occupied Fieri "line of the Semem from Sterbasi to the Metali bridge; also the heights between Janistera Buvalica Zitom. On the left of Osuni we are approaching Barat. The retreating enemy are setting fir« to their depots. We captured prisoners and much material. A later report states v-he Italian right wing continuing to advance astride the Osum, occupied and passed beyond Barat. We continued the pursuit.
