TURKISH DESERTERS. A PITCHED BATTLE.

October 6, 5.5 p.m.) LONDpN, October 5 The Zurich correspondent of the "Daily News" states that a thousand deserters at Constantinople sent an ultimatum to Talaat Pasha and Enver Pasha, calling o n them to resign. The Ministers sent troops who. dispersed tho deserters. A pitched battle followed, the result being unknown. It is reported that deserters in Asia Minor liave captured several towns.
