THE WEATHER.
Mr. Bates reports : Barometric pressure has decreased slowly, and freshening easterly to northerly winds have prevailed. Mild dull_and misty conditions have ruled. Rain has fallen to-day in niany parts- of the Dominion. Present indications are for north-easterly to north-westerly w.u.ds, increasing strong to gale, and unsettled weather, foggy in parts, with rain probable generally; the barometer falling everywhere.
