AUCKLAND, October 4. The hearing of the, charges ag^/nst seven men in connection with the recent burglaries w.as continued at. the Police Court to-day. On ummary charges, Patrick Gunn was .entenced to a year's imprisonment for 'wing in posession of firearms, and three months on each of three charges of theft, and one of escapirg from custody, the sentries being cumulative. Thomas Gunn was sentenced to 11 months, .and Alexander Gunn to 12 months for \>ein possession of firearms. Daverii and McLelland were sentenced _to thi.ee months for theft. .
