The Government has despatched a preemptory telegram to Germany j demanding an immediate answer regarding the exchange of war prisoners. The negotiations at the" Blague last July have ' not materialised, solely because Germany introduced ati the eleventh hour an irf evelent question regarding the Germans in China. Germany ajso has sought the release of her submarine prisoners.
