LONDON, October 4. ,■* General Poole's forces are pushing up the Dwiha river. They are now advanced 160. miles from Arcnangel. After a tlefeat o n the'l4th September, the Bolsheviks blocked and mined the river, their army dispersing 'in hiding. The British also pursued the enemy in the Murman region. A remnant were surounded on an island i n a lake southwest of Lakuhta.

Further south, the Czechs are onc"e mpre advancing on the Volga front.
