Sir Douglas Ha»g reports: The progress of the Allied forces in Flanders ! and at Cambrai and St. Quentin, has compelled an extensive enemy with- ( drawal. j The retreat extends on a 'iO-mile front from Lens to Armentiers. The enemy is evacuating highly ! organised positions, whTch he has held : since trench warfare began. We are following up, and our line has already reached Cite St. August, \ and Douvrain, eastward of La Basse, ' and Aubers to westward of Bois Grenier.
