ETHEL CLAYTON
TO-NIGHT
TU-JN±littT. The cast of the World Film's d^aina, "Husband and Wife" is a powerfuL one, headed by Ethel Clayton. The cast includes such stars " as, Gerda Holmes, little Madge Evans, Hollbrook Blinn, Montagu Love and Dion Titheradge. Ethel Clayton scores very heavily as the young bride, who marries a man who has to live on his salary, and the result is inevitable. Her tastes are expensive and he lacks the courage to deny her anything. Little Madge Evans as the child of the two who have drifted, is charming as she always is. "Husband and Wife" is advertised as a play for people who intend to marry, people who are married, and p< nple who have been married. The story treats of the serious side of marriage, the difficult task that so many inexperienced folk, tackle with perfect confidence. The drama is splendidly acted and mounted. "Ace High Loses," the 11th Chapter of — "A Lass of the Lumberlands," supports the star feature. !
