The Belgians displayed extraordinary spirit when they learned that tho 100 th Regiment of Saxons, who were the perpetrators of the Dinant outrages were opposed 9r> them. Anticipating a big capture of guns, additional gun crews accompanied the advance and promptly turned the weapons on the retreating 'troops.
