POLLARDS PICTURES
LAST NIGHT OF "POLLY OF THE - CIECUS." The splendid Circus picture. "Bolly of the Circus,'' a Goldwyn feature will be screened for the last time in the Opera House to-night. FRIDAY AND SATURDAY. A BIG TRIANGLE PLAY. On Friday and Saturday evenings an extraordinary Triangle story, featuring Walt Whitman, entitled "The Tarheel Warrior," will be screened by Pollard's Pictures. The queer title given to the picture means a man who has never shown (or known fear. Walt Whitman gives a great performance of the old, proud Southern "Colonel Mills, " whose boast was that "No one obuld call a Mills a thief "and live. But the old Colonel gambled with money given to him on trust, and lost. He had to call himself a thief and as he had never been a coward ho could face death irfore cheerfully than dishonour. Bat there came a surprise. The love incident in the story is. an idyll of Southern ro-
mance amid the flowers, and a heroino whose love making is delightful is seen in the new Triangle star actress Miss Ann Kronin, the daintiest little lady seen for some time. The Southern scenes are very beautiful and the negro • scenes quaint. "A Double Fight," is the title of the 9th Chap-' ter of "A Lass of the Lumberlands. "
