CHRISTCHURCH, September 18 • At Lyttelton Magistrate's Court today before Mr. S. E. McCarthy, S.M., Benjamin Perkin, whai finger, in the employ of the New Zealand it«.uwayß Department was sentenced to two months' imprisonment, without the option of a fine, for theft of coal, valued at £1, the property of the Union Company.
