Zealand, Sir James Allen states that tho number to be granted leave will be limited to 50 monthly. This quota has been fixed by the authorities in England.. The Imitation is necessary owing to the shipping difficulty. The men returning would be granted 28 days' leave in Now Zealand, on full pay, and granted a three-weeks' railway pass for during that period. The men would then be re-embarked for active service unless a Military Service Board ordered otherwise in such eases as are submitted for consideration.
