To-night at tlie Opera House, Pollard's present one of the best circus . pictures ever screened. "Polly of the Circus" with that "big-little" artist, Mac Marsh in the role of "Polfr" the child of the circus. The rise of Mac Marsh t 0 her present position in the screen world has been meteoric. Only twenty years of age, she counts her admirers by the million, and the number will be further increased by her appearance i n the marvellous Goldwyn picture "Polly of the Circus." An entire circus was leased for the purpose of making the great Goldwyn picture "Polly of the Circus" a success. This spectacular film-drama reproduces every detail of a big show. FIRE IN A CIRCUS. One of the wildest stampedes ever witnessed occurred. When a mammoth circus in America caught fire and a mad scramble for safety ensued. The huge manageri of wild animals, from elephants downward., get loose and mingled with the flying audience. And all to produce a moving picture. This startling scene is the climax of "Polly of the Circus," | the Goldwyn photo-spectacle. A wholo tremendous travelling circus was engaged for this production. Arrival ot a circus at daybreak, the great street parade, the departure at dead ot" night. Tlie circus performers include: Powers' trained elephants, a roller-skating bear, the clown's stubborn donkey, that won't do anything, the man-like Chimpanzee, that smokes cigarettes and rides bareback. •
