„ AMSTERDAM, September 8. General Linsingeh, has issued a proclamation warning, the people, in Berlin that if. they spread .unfounded rumours or doubt the tsuth (Linsingen thereby meaning the German official communiques) the proclamation goes on — they will render themselves liable to a year's imprisonment. There has, he adds, been much silly and treacherous prattle as to the event pf the enemy successes. Doubt is being past on the resisting power of the German Army. Similar proclamations have been issued at Breslau,.Haile, anid. Weimar.
