LONDON, June 9. r Sentence was paa'sed. on several persons concerned in the charges against Kric Brotherton, manager, and Walker, assistant manager, of the Birmingham Dock Company, of defrauding the Government by means of i"alse representations, regarding repairs to vessels. Brotherton was found guilty on three counts - and sentenced to twenty months' -imprisonment, and Walker to six months. A timber merchant, was sentenced to,eight months, and another accused/'tftftitfy, was discharged.
