NEWS FROM ITALY. ENEMY ATTACKS ARRESTED. Australian and N. Z. Cable Assn., and Renter. (Rec. June* 10, 11.50 p.m.) LONDON, June 9. An Italian communique states that there is somewhat intense artillerying activity . ~ A British party south of the Assft River, in a successful coup de-main, inflicted considerable losses and brought back prisoners. Attempted enemy attacks at Vallaras and in the Astico Valley were arrested by our fire". . ' Airships aeroplanes bonlbarded railway stations and the aviation camps of the enemy at Huttenti, also ma-chine-gunned moving- troops, and exploded a large ammunition dump at Nattarello. Five enemy machines were brought down. _
