GIANT GERMAN 'AEROPLANE

. BROUGHT DOWN. (Rec. June 10, 9.15 p.m.) PARIS, June 9. Havas Agency states that the latest giant German aeroplane was downed. It carried a crew of nine specialists, also four motor engines, each of 300 horse-power. It is 43 metres across the wings, and 2S" metres in length. Its weight when empty is 9200 kilograms, and when loaded 14,600. Its maximum speed is 130 kilometres an hour. It had an armament of four machineguns.
