Murdoch appeared, pleaded guilty to the charge of unlawfully selling ::quor and after j briefly stating the facts J of the case and he was transferring the license asked the Court to take a lenient view of the ease. In view of defendant's plea, Inspector Cruickshank said he would withdraw the other charges. McLean was convicted and fined £10 and J costs of Court. 23/-.
