TIMARU, March 7. The Timaru Trotting Club's annual meeting was held to-day in fine weather. There was a good attendance, considering there were no trains allowed. The track was good. Tho totalisator turnover was £13,751, as against last year £13,961 10s (with train). The meeting passed off well, bar one accident in the last race, when Auriforous fell and Broadwood fell over him. Brown, the rider of Auriferous, dislocated his shoulder, while Conquest on Broadwood was severely bruised and sustained slight concussion. Both were taken to the hospital.
