THE KING'S ABDICATION DEMANDED. .
(Rec. March 3. 5.5 p.m.) AMSTERDAM, March 1. Berlin telegrams state that Czernin demanded the King of Roumania to abdicate in favour of his brother, Prince William, or take a referendum of Roumania regarding the succession of the Throne. Austrian prisoners from Russia returning across East Galicia at the rate of 5000 daily, are being drafted to garrison corps after a brief quarantine.
