Mr. Robert Hannah, of Kuinara, met •with an accident on the Tereniakau Bridge the other morning. He was proceeding to his work on horseback when the animal slipped and fell. In the fall Mr. Hannah . received some severe bruises which will incapacitate him for some time. The flaxmill at Dillnians, is, I understand, about to resume operations. A company from Auckland is reported to have purchased the property and intend installing the more up-to-date machinery. With flax at £S0 per ton tile speculation should prove a remunerative, one. , Privates ■- Sam Stewart and" W, Nicholas,, of Trchthaju Camp, who accompanied the body of the late.
