RUSSIANS FORCED BACK, BIG FIRE AT OKNA. Australian and N~Z. Cable Associatlon. (Admiralty, per Wireless Press). LONDON, August 30. Russian official : .. We repulsed stacks at Radantz near Okna. The enemy attacked eastward of Ireszand dislodged our troops some of whom abandoned their positions and retired northwards. Measures have been taken to restore the positions and a battle is progressing-. We occupied two villag-es in the direction of Pendoivih. Another large factory in the Okna suburbs was burned. The damage is several million roubles. Incendiarism is suspected.
