♦ . HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, August 24. Replying to Mr. C. H. Poole, the Premier said that it was not a fact that next year's butter output had been purchased by the Government at is 4d per lb. Negotiations had ijcen reached concerning the matter and when he was able he would report to Cabinet, but they were not final yet. At a latter stage, in replying to Mr. A. Walker the Premier said that -he interests of the consuming public were not being overlooked in th^se negotiations. Replying to Mr. Anderson, , Mr. Masscv said that a very large proportion of the dairy companies . had Paid the butter fat levy.
