SUNDAY EVENING. The World Films great Russian story of intrigue and mystery "The Scarlet' Oath" will be the star feature, in tomorrow (Sunday) nights big display. At the Opera House wonderful Warsaw is the scene of much of the action of "The Scarlet Oath" and Gail Kane is magnificent in the dual role of the two sisters drawn into nihilistic intrigue aqd the secret forces of murder and strife, produced by oppression. The story of "The Scarlet Oath" tells of Nina Pavloff, one of twin sisters, is adopted by the wealthy Karenin family. ■Twenty years later ,Olga, the other twin and her father, a nihilist, plan to return to Russia to avenge their wrongs. While at a meeting of the Nihilists at Warsaw, they are raided by the Chief of Police, Olga's father is tortured and she consents to buy. his release at the price of herself.' She however kills Savaroff. Through the aid of Huntington, her sister's fiance, who believes her to be Nina she escapes to America, but is. tracked and shot by an Agent of the Russian Police. The character, of this picture is intensely dramatic with many of the scenes laid in WafS'aw, Russia.
