Advice lias been received that Private Albert Toohey, who left with the 20th Reinforcements, was wounded in the right foot on August 12th, and was admit ted. to hospit;|i. I • Mr. K. He was cycling down Hau- ! hau Hill when his bicvele collapsed and he was. thrown heavTly and badly cut -about the face and hands. lie was removed to the Westland Hospital, and he is progressing well. ■The Defender is expected from Picton today.
