TIDAL WAVE
SAMOA GROUP VISITED.

(Per Press Association.) (Rec. July 10, 9.20 p.rit.) SUVA, July 10. An earthquake and tidal wave visited the Samoa Group. It Was the •severest on record. j The Friendly Group experienced an earthquake , and at Hapai there were three tidal waves fourteen feet high. No material damage was Tdone. At Kepp'el Island the visitation was the worst and many native. hmses were destroyed. The concrete was carried away. There were no fatalities. The shock was not felt a Niuafoo.
