RUSSIAN LOSSES HEAVY
AUSTRIAN REPORT,
LONDON. July 8 Austrian Official : We broke massed attacks lasting from the morning till the afternoon south-west of Zbore. The Russians are employing nineteen divisions. Fifteen waves, on a front of sixteen kilometres were compelled to retreat under the machine-guns of our chasing air squadrons. Our artillery also broke the Russian cavalry bi-ought up in readiness for pursuit. The losses of the Russians were heavy.
