A meeting of. the West Coast Rugby V nion was held at the Aibion Hotel last night; there being present: Messrs D. McKay (chair), T. Mclntosh, A. White, J. Brimble (Stars), W. Dittman, E. Sullivan (United), H. Bowman aud.J. Bell (Marist), E. M. Guinness (Runanga), J. Grindle (Blackball) and A. Fraser (secretary). The election of officers resulted as follow: — President, Mr. D. McKay; Vice-presidents, Captain Cox, MessrsJ. Brimble and J. Heffernan; Hon. Secretary, Mr. A.. J.- Fraser; Hon. Trea,surer, Mr. H. Bowman; Committee, Messrs T. MClntosh, W. Dittman, E. Sullivan, J. Bell, E. ,.M. Guinness, and a representative of the Blackball Club; Vice-president N.Z. Union, Mr. J. Brimble ; Postponement Committee, Messrs D. McKay, J. F; v Wilson and A. J. Fraser. It was resolved: ''That the delegates present agree that; tip -objections will be raised against the application by clubs for the reinstatement of juniors who have played in senior grade matches, in order that the numerical strength of senior learns should be maintained." , - v ' The following teams were nominated :— ; - ..%.-..
