Mark Sprot and Co. report thcor sale at Preston Road yards on Monday as follows : The large entry of stock advertised attracted a large attendance of buyers from town and country districts. The stock cntc^r-ed was on the whole particularly prime, 'and we. sold the whole of our entry under keen competition, with demand unsatisfied at the close of the sale. On account of Mr. H. Dicdrichs, Kokatahi : Four heifers at £8 7s 6d, 7 prime bullocks from £14 12s (5d to £11 15s. On account of Messrs Ryall Bros. Barrytewn : Four fat heifers at '£B, ten 18---months' steers and heifers at £3 8s On acount of Mr. M. Keating, Coal Creek : One bullock at £9. On account of. Mr. G. H. Robinson : 25 fat cows and heifers from £14 7s 6d to £8 7s 6d, 192 prime heavy wethers at 36s b'd. On account of sundry clients : 14 store pigs at 20s 3d, four fat bullocks at £ll\los, eight fat cows and heifers from £12 12s (id to £10 12s 6d.
