LABOUR UNREST.
MANCHESTER STRIKE NOT
SETTLED
THE MOTOR-BTJS DRIVERS
(Australian and N.Z. Cable Assn.)
LONDON. May 14. Only twenty 'buses were running yesterday out of 1000. It was reported this morning that services would be 'resumed to-day pending negotiations. The engineer strikers at Derby held a ballot and will return to-day, trusting that the Government will enquire into their grievances.
The report that the Manchester strikers were returning is apparently baseless, as there is no Sigh of resumption at Sheffield.
