SOLICITOR IN TROUBLE

MISUSE OF TRUST MONEYS. ACCUSED REMANDED. (Per Press. Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, October 31. This afternoon at the Magistrate 's Court, before Mr H. W. Bishop, S.M., Gcoive Berry Ritchie, solicitor, of Clmstchurch, was brought up on a charge of converting trust funds to his own use, viz., the sum of £338 16s Bd, which was part of the trust' created under the will of Diebrich Kf use, who died in 1905. The Chief Detective stated " there were other charges pending, and it was exnect.ed that the deficiency would reach the sum of £3000. The accuced was remanded, and ad. mi tied bail, himself in £500, and two sureties of £250 each.
