ELECTION OP OFFICERS.

The fortnightly meeting of the Star of the West Lodge, held in the Lodge Boom, Tainui Street last evening, was attended by a fair number of members In the absence of the A.D., P. A. Bro. G Ashton resided and Bro. A Mosley ocupied the V.A. chair. A good deal of general business having been transacted and sick, pay amounting to £15 15s 43. passed for payment, the Lodge proceeded to elect officers for the ensuing term. The result of the election was as follows: — Arch Druid — Bro. A. Mosley. Vice-Arch Driud— Bro. C. Miller. Secretary— Bro J. Tennent. Treasurer — Bro. W. Sampson. Inside Guardian — Bro. J. Saunders. Outside Guardian— P.A. Bro R # M. Hempseed. AJXB.'s^ — Bros H. Herring and W. Waugh. V.A.B.'s— Bros J. Nash and G. Web ster. Minute Secretary— Bro C. Brice. M.C.— Bro Ed. Ashton. Pianiste — Bro A. King. The election having concluded, the Lodge went into harmony.
