MR HUGHES*TO ATTEND. AN IMPERIAL, GOVERN- . MEN T 'S REPRESENTATIVE (Reed. 8.40 p.m.) LONDON, April 10. - Speaking in the House of (Com nions, Mi- Asquith stated that Mr Bor.ar Law had forwarded a request that Mr Hughes should gd to Paris as one of the 'representatives of the Imperial Government Mr Asquith said that he hoped that Mr Hushes would be able to accept. Mr P. Snowdcn asked whether Mr Hughes would go as the representative of the Australian <!umocraey, because every Labour jjrtper in Australia repudiated his altitude. Mr Asquith replied that he would go as the representative of tt:« Imperial Government. Mr Hughes interviewed, said ; that he had accepted the offer.
