In the region of Roye a strong enemy remonnaissance was dispersed
In. the Argomie there has been tlift French shelling the wood at Avoneourt Veld by the Germans.
West of the Meuse the bombard ment continued with growing in tensity. At midday the Germans laiir'ched an attack against Hair' court, and Bethihcourt, to the south o f the Brook Gorges, and ; despite^ the ferocity of the enemy attacks, our line was unaltered throughout.
