WELFARE OF MOTHERHOOD AND
INFANCY
(Reed.' at 11.50 p.m.) LONDON, October 28. There was a meeting at the Guild. Hall to initiate a National campaign for the welfare of motherhood and infancy. Hon. Walter Long, said that the fathers of the future had been greatly depleted and it behoved us to see tha. women and children were eared for. Hon. H. Samuel said that the population of Britain in a decade, had iuereased by 3A million, Germany had insreased SA millions. Much of the in. fant mortality was not inevitable. There were messag sajiproving of th& movement from Queen lvxary aud Queen Alexandria.
